Knit one, Pearl one!
We joined forces with Wool and the Gang for a conscious collaboration of dreams. Our two brands share a common purpose; to make sustainable fashion accessible, and so the stars aligned when we reached out to Wool and the Gang to turn one of our popular knits, the ‘Blake’ cardigan, into a DIY kit.
By enabling people to craft garments, two incredible things are achieved: Firstly, a bond is formed between maker and product meaning a longer lifespan for that piece in their wardrobe. And secondly, the manufactured production process is removed, offering the community a chance to make the iconic piece without paying for this part.
The Blake cardigan kit was available in two designs; the ‘Blake Original’ patterned version for those with a little knit know-how, and the ‘Blake Minimal’ a classic, simplified pattern for newbie knitters. Both designs came with our signature pearl pin, exclusive branded packaging and comprehensive information about the sustainability and impact of the product.
