SHIPPING & RETURNS


INSURANCE AND DELIVERY
Ownership of any products ordered by you from us shall pass to you on the later of:
(a) the date on which we receive full payment for those products;
(b) the date and time of delivery to your nominated address. 
We insure each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. A signature is required for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by us, and transfer of responsibility in the same way. 
We shall be entitled to supply your purchases in installments and each installment shall be deemed to constitute a separate contract with us, and we shall be entitled to supply only part of an order. 

SHIPPING
When your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmatory email, which will include your tracking number. You can track and trace your order using the link provided. Order status may take up to 1 hour to update after the order has been placed. 
Please note that only orders received by 12pm (BST) will be shipped on the same day. 
A signature will be required upon delivery of your order. 
Please be aware that our service is not a named delivery service and anyone at the designated delivery address may sign for your delivery. We will not be liable for a lost or missing order that has been signed for in a building, for example an office address that has been provided for delivery.

DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES
Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of shipping. Please note that in some areas there is a limited range of delivery services available. We will endeavor to send your order out as quickly as possible but we cannot be responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations or adverse weather conditions. 

Please note that for shipments outside the EU, your total price at checkout will not include VAT but you may have to pay Import duties and taxes according to your shipping destination. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, Mother of Pearl has no control over these charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. 

 

 

Christmas Deliveries
To ensure delivery by 24 December:
UK – order before 12.30pm 3 working days before Christmas
Europe – order before 12.30pm 6 working days before Christmas.

All orders placed within the Christmas break (23rd December to 1st January) will be despatched on January 2nd.

FREE UK RETURNS 
If you would like to return an item and it is in new, unused and saleable condition you will need to email us at customerservice@motherofpearl.co.uk to let us know that you’d like to make a return. Please mention your order number, the item name and SKU code. Items should be returned within 14 days of their delivery date. 
We will send you the return label and you would need to book the collection calling the number provided along with the return label. 
Make sure to attach the return label to the outside of the box.

STEPS TO RETURN YOUR PURCHASE
1. Place the product in the original shipping box. 
2. Write us an e-mail to customerservice@motherofpearl.co.uk to let us know that you'd like to make a return and please explain the reason for the return. 
3. Our customer service will send you the pre-paid return label that you would need to print and attach to the box. 
4. Call the shipper provided by the customer service and arrange the shipment. 
5. Make sure to arrange the the pick-up within 5 days after receiving the return label, otherwise it will expire.
6. Attach the returns label to the outside of the box. If you are using the original box, make sure you have removed the other shipping labels from the outside of the box.
7. Please note that we offer FREE RETURNS to UK only. If you would return your order from another country, please check the conditions below.



INTERNATIONAL RETURNS 
If you would like to return an item and it is in new, unused and saleable condition you will need to email us at customerservice@motherofpearl.co.uk to let us know that you’d like to make a return. Please mention your order number and the item you wish to return. If you would like an exchange for a different size or item, please let us know. Items should be returned within 28 days of their delivery date. 
You must arrange your return shipment and you are responsible for the full cost of the return shipment. You will need to email us your chosen shipping provider and the tracking number. 
We are not responsible for any returns shipments but you must let us know the details of the shipping information. You will need to send multiple copies of the commercial invoice, and any other required shipping documents with the returned item to ensure there are no customs clearance issues.

For international returns please clearly mark "Returned British merchandise, no commercial value". If you fail to do so, we will not be liable for any customs charges incurred. 
Please note: The customer takes full liability for any parcels returned to us due to unpaid customs charges. Original shipping charges, return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees will all be deductible from any refund due.

4. Attach the returns label to the outside of the box. Please send to our customer service the tracking number of the shipment. 
5. If you are returning your order from outside the EU you'll need to send with the order multiple copies of the commercial invoice provided from us.
6. Please note that you would need to return your order from the same country it was delivered to. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges and be delayed in customs. 

RETURNS POLICY
Items should be returned within 14 days of their delivery date, unused and with all garment tags still attached. Our Mother of Pearl branded boxes and dustbags are considered to be a part of the product and must be returned with the goods. This is also to ensure that the product(s) arrive back to us in a suitable and undamaged state. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused.
Where provided, any packaging such as instructions, authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included with your return.

REFUSED DELIVERIES
If a delivery is refused by the receiver and returned to Mother of Pearl, any duties, taxes, postage or customs charges incurred will be deducted from the refund issued.

_Leather
We cannot be responsible for general wear and tear and any transformations that occur due to the nature of the materials used.
_Faulty goods
Goods are faulty if they are received damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
Where possible, we will offer to replace or repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund.
_Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate. 

Refunds will be credited to the purchaser’s original method of payment. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. If your return was purchased in a currency other than your local currency, refunds will be paid in the same currency as purchase. 
On receipt of return, we shall process the refund as soon as possible. We estimate that refunds will be made by the provider of your payment method within 7-10 working days. 

Please retain your proof of postage until you have received your refund.
